How to install Windows onto your Mac
You will need to:
- Download Windows 10 and get a Windows 10 license key
- Install virtualization software – such as Mac Parallels or Mac Bootcamp
Mac Parallels software allows the user to have access to both operating systems at the same time. Parallels is not a free software package.
Mac Bootcamp software allows the user to select Mac OS X or Windows when turning the Mac on. To change OS, the computer must be restarted. This is free software, but installation will require some technical knowledge and a few hours.
