The School of Engineering welcomes students from other universities or community colleges – or other programs at Ole Miss

Academic requirements
To transfer from another institution into an engineering degree program at Ole Miss, you’ll need to have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.25 or higher on a minimum of 12 hours.
You will also need to meet ONE of the following:
- 24 or higher on the Math portion of the ACT (or SAT equivalent)
- 76 or higher on the ALEKS PPL Placement Assessment
- B or higher in MATH 125 (or in both MATH 121 and 123), or a higher mathematics course
Transfer of credits
You should work with your current school advisor on your course schedule to optimize your credits transfer. The School of Engineering and the university’s Office of Admissions will determine which course work will be transferable.
