Ole Miss Engineering ambassadors represent the school – exciting potential students about STEM and Ole Miss
Engage and recruit new students
Our Engineering Ambassadors help the school engage with and recruit new students. That includes:
- Running tours for students and their parents
- Taking over the school’s Instagram to show a life in the day of an engineering student
- Filming videos for department and school promotions
- Writing postcards to potential students
Outreach to K-12 students
Our ambassadors support outreach to younger students – from kindergarten to middle school to high school. They show them the huge diversity of engineering pursuits.
As an example, they helped with Engineering Day – a day to introduce local middle and high schoolers to STEM.
Want to be an ambassador?
Our ambassadors are a cross-section of the school. We welcome sophomores, juniors and seniors. And, we aim to have ambassadors from each degree program. This is a great opportunity to gain leadership skills and help shape the future community of engineers at Ole Miss.
