Research interests
Dr. Hua’s research focuses on studying the role of biomechanics in visual impairment and dysfunction. His lab investigates a spectrum of diseases and injuries that affect vision through the eye, the brain, or the optic nerve connecting them, including:
-
Glaucoma
-
Myopia
-
Spaceflight-Associated Neuro-ocular Syndrome (SANS)
-
Previously known as Visual Impairment and Intracranial Pressure (VIIP) syndrome
