Research interests
Dr. Wu’s interests range from understanding and modelling turbulence to complexity in fluid mechanics in general. He combines large-scale simulations and theoretical analysis for his research, with an emphasis on the multi-scale and non-equilibrium aspects of turbulence. His recent research has focused on vortex dominated flows, particle-laden flows, flow separation and turbulence past complex objects in engineering contexts.
