Research interests
Dr. Uddin has partnered in four U.S. Department of Transportation-funded centers of excellence. He is Ole Miss’s site director for UTC TriDurLE – collaborating with a consortium of 11 universities on infrastructure durability and life-extension. Dr. Uddin’s professional expertise and teaching experience using computational modeling, satellite imagery, and geospatial analysis led to diverse research areas of:
- Transportation infrastructure
- Sustainable development
- Air quality and climate modeling
- Natural disaster assessment and risk mapping
