Research interests

My research involves experimental and computational science and engineering of advanced polymer nanocomposites for applications such as:

  • aerospace
  • automotive
  • drug delivery
  • extreme environments
  • impact
  • membranes
  • thermal management

I’m interested in engineering polymers modified with 1D and 2D nanoparticles, such as graphene, boron nitride, MXenes, carbon nanotubes and carbon nanofibers. In my research group, we also perform lower-length-scale, molecular dynamics simulations.
