Research interests

Dr. Matalgah’s research work deals with performance and optimization of multimedia wireless communication systems in fading channels as related to 3G/4G/5G Technologies. Specific research areas include:

  • Resource allocation optimization in 4G air interface technologies
  • Security algorithms for IoT devices in 5G wireless environment
  • Optimum wireless receivers in fading channels with high mobility
  • Cooperative MIMO-OFDM wireless networks with space-time coding
  • Cooperative Unmanned airborne vehicles (UAVs) systems
