Research interests
Farzbod’s lab works on different projects including:
- Design and fabrication of novel electromechanical actuators such as flexible actuators using liquid metals, flexible pumps and omnidirectional speaker
- Analysis and fabrication of active and passive acoustic metamaterials, by using electrostatic forces and applying AI in the design
- Resonant ultrasound spectroscopy: improving the sensitivity of the method
