Research interests
Dr. Waddell’s lab is interested in volitional control of human movement and locomotion as well as helping to understand better the neurophysiological contributions to movement. Strategies include biomedical device design and prototyping to facilitate rehabilitation, motion capture, and cadaveric testing and imaging. Specific areas of interest include:
- Biomechanics
- Neuromotor control
- Movement disorders
- Motion capture
- Electromyography
- Electroencephalography
