Dual-Institution Degrees
Ole Miss Engineering offers dual-degree partnerships that allow students to earn degrees from multiple institutions, combining different academic strengths into one comprehensive program.

Mississippi — Partnership Programs
These programs enable students to complete coursework at a partner institution before finishing their engineering degree at Ole Miss. Students study for three years at our academic partner and then come to Ole Miss Engineering to focus in a specific engineering field.
- Northwest Mississippi Community College
- In our joint Redshirt program, successful students earn an associate degree from NWCC and an engineering degree from Ole Miss. During their first three years at NWCC, students also take relevant courses at Ole Miss.
- Millsaps College
- Students can participate in one of our four academic pairings:
- Geophysics (Millsaps) and geological engineering (Ole Miss)
- Chemistry (Millsaps) and biomedical engineering (Ole Miss)
- Applied mathematics (Millsaps) and mechanical engineering (Ole Miss)
- Chemistry (Millsaps) and General engineering/pre-med (Ole Miss)
- Students can participate in one of our four academic pairings:
- Belhaven University
- With this program, students can pursue a degree in chemistry or mathematics from Belhaven – along with a degree in chemical, civil, mechanical or general engineering from Ole Miss.
International — Partnership Programs
Students in these programs pursue their studies at the partner university for two years along with two years at Ole Miss Engineering.
- National University of Civil Engineering – Vietnam
- Students in an engineering bachelor’s degree program complete two years at one institution and transfer to finish it at the other. Our partnership also allows opportunities for faculty exchange, research collaborations, English as a Second Language instruction and more.
- North China University of Technology – China
- Student take courses in China for their freshman and sophomore years, and then transfer to Ole Miss Engineering for their junior and senior years. They receive an Ole Miss degree upon completion of academic requirements. And, they’ll also be able to receive their NCUT degree if they meet all degree requirements there.
