Get Ahead with the Summer Bridge Program

The School of Engineering Summer Bridge Program for Entering Freshmen is a transformative initiative designed for students who have not yet qualified to enroll in the first calculus class (Math 261). It supports their transition to college life and academic rigor by reinforcing essential math skills and preparing them to succeed in Math 261 in the fall.

This preparation enables participants to pursue an engineering major and stay on an eight‑semester graduation track. The program also cultivates a supportive community, fostering confidence and a strong sense of belonging.
