Engineering Student Body

The Engineering Student Body is the foundation for the School of Engineering. It consists of all students of all disciplines in engineering including Computer Science and Geology. The Engineering Student Body provides many services to its students including tutoring in various areas by personally selected tutors from around campus and in the School of Engineering as well as the mentor program, which matches upperclassman with incoming freshman and transfer students to help ease the incoming student's transition from high school or a different college and to have someone there to answer your questions and help out whenever there is a need.

Each year, officers are elected by the Engineering Student Body to be the voice of the ESB to the Faculty and Staff. The offices elected are President, Vice-President, and Secretary /Treasurer. This leadership team may also nominate other students to various roles that also provide service for the ESB. The Engineering Student Body Leadership team organizes different social events and contests during the year to promote unity, friendship, diversity, and most of all engineering. These events include the Ole Miss Engineering Grove Tent setup each home game by the Engineering Student Body, E-week in the spring, and various other events. The overall goal for the Engineering Student Body Leadership team is to provide needed services to its students and push forth academic excellence and professionalism in all engineering disciplines.
