Gregg Tobin ( Engineering)

Gregg Tobin currently leads the global new ventures business for a New York Stock Exchange company, Halyard Health, with global headquarters in Atlanta, GA. His experience includes growing and leading companies in multiple industries, with a strong focus in software/technology, healthcare (medical device, IT, and diagnostics), financial/banking, and manufacturing. As a private equity executive, he has invested more than $3B in 50 operating companies.

Gregg studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Mississippi and participated in the Cooperative Education Program, working with the National Security Agency as a software developer with top secret security clearance. He worked for General Electric for 10 years in several operating roles, including sales, marketing and global corporate development. After attending business school at the University of Chicago, where he studied Finance and Accounting, Gregg began a career in venture capital and private equity for approximately 10 years.
