The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), with more than 29,900 members, is one of the largest student-governed 501(C)(3) non-profit organizations in the country and is constantly growing an international presence. Here at the Ole Miss Chapter we strive to accomplish a variety of activities, from middle and high school outreach programs.

We stimulate and develop student interest in various engineering disciplines (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.). We strive to increase the number of minority students studying engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Some of our chapter's present activities include tutorial programs, group study sessions, high school/junior high outreach programs, promoting technical seminars and workshops, a national communications network (NSBENET), and attendance at our annual national convention (career fairs, awards, scholarships, etc.). We constantly collaborate with other Ole Miss organizations to help magnify our efforts to promote STEM subjects. If you are interested in joining our growing organization, please contact us.
