Apple Computers - Using Windows
To install Windows onto your Mac, you will need:
- Windows 10 (free)
- A Windows license key available in Carrier 104
- Virtualization software
- Mac Parallels software allows the user to have access to both operating systems at the same time. Parallels is not a free software package.
- Mac Bootcamp software allows the user to select Mac OS X or Windows when turning the Mac on. To change OS, the computer must be restarted. This is free software, but installation will require some technical knowledge and a few hours.
