The undergraduate curriculum in chemical engineering emphasizes thorough coverage of the physical sciences and engineering, including a background of civil, electrical and mechanical, as well as chemical engineering fundamentals. Additional information on engineering degree requirements is available from the School of Engineering. Official curriculum guidelines are given in the current Ole Miss Undergraduate Catalog. A life-sciences version of this curriculum has been developed for those students who plan to attend medical school after receiving their B.S.Ch.E. Differences primarily affect the electives and the chemistry laboratory sequence.
